Watch a live fusion set, 2 minutes“I don’t think anyone at my wedding sat down the whole night.”

Two families walk in. One family dances out.

Unforgettable moments from recent weddings.
A DJ set and a live band each do something the other can't. Put them in the same room and you get a third thing. That's the set couples remember.
My fusion sets put live sax, violin, strings and percussion on top of the DJ mix, so the energy builds instead of stopping for a band break.

Strings or violin for the processional, cued from the booth.
Sax or violin over a lounge set while guests mingle.
Strings or acoustic sets kept warm and low under the conversation.
A full fusion set with live players riding the mix.
A lot of my couples start out wanting a band. Here's what they said afterward. And if you still want live music, you can have both: live musicians mixed into the set.
“DJ vs. a band was a hot topic in our home prior to booking, but after having DJ Dayve at our wedding there is not a doubt in ANYONE’S mind that booking him was the BEST move we made.”
“They had only ever been to weddings with bands… they both said that if they knew a DJ could do that, why would you get a band?!”
“Going into the wedding planning, I wanted a real band but I can’t say enough how amazing DJ Dayve was.”
Most of my weddings are two families meeting properly for the first time. Different music, different traditions, sometimes different languages. My job is to get her grandmother and his college roommates on the same floor at the same time, and keep them there.
Bhangra, Bollywood and Latin sets included. I plan the traditions that matter to you with both sides. Each culture below opens a wedding I've played.
“He perfectly blended our favorite western hits and Bollywood music, keeping the dance floor packed all night long… making every guest feel included and excited.”
“DJ Dayve figured out a way to successfully combine music for Brits (on my side) and Latinos (on my husband’s side) and get everybody out on the dance floor!”
“He also played our Italian songs that we grew up with since my family is 100%… my family was extremely impressed!”

Spin around the standard setup: booth, speakers, LED tubes and uplighting. Try a color or a venue, add lighting towers, or turn on the dancing lights.
A highlight from a recent reception: the booth, the room and the floor, cut together from the evening.

I started DJing at 12, trained as a classical pianist, and spent years as a hip hop dancer. More than 700 events and 2,800 hours later, reading the room is still the best part.
Two families come in with two sets of songs, two sets of traditions, two ideas of a good time. If I do my job right, by the end of the night there's a third thing on the floor that belongs to neither side and both. Everything I do in preparation before the day is about reaching that faster, holding it longer, and then allowing core memories to unfold in what emerges.
Witnessing and taking part in that emergence is why I DJ weddings.
Spare control gear travels to every wedding, so the music never stops for a technical problem.
Sound and lighting are checked four to five hours before guests arrive.
$2M/$4M liability coverage meets virtually every venue requirement.
I coordinate timing and cues with your planner, photographer, videographer and venue directly.
“DJ Dayve came to our rescue after Hurricane Ian. The band we hired didn’t come through for us and Dayve stepped in and made our wedding INCREDIBLE.”
The inquiry takes about two minutes. You get a text right away and an answer on your date the same day.
A complimentary video consultation on your vision, venue and music. We build your quote together, and your date is held for 72 hours.
Questionnaire at 12 weeks, timeline and music documents at 8, a live screen-share review at 4 to 6 weeks, and your custom playlists one to two weeks out. We go through both families' music: the songs that pull each side out of their seats, and the ones to leave alone.
I arrive hours early, run the timeline with your planner and venue, and lead the room from the processional to the send-off.

Yes. Uplighting and LED tubes come standard with every wedding booking, matched to your colors.
Yes, and it's one of my favorite ways to perform. I book sax, violin, strings and percussion, and build fusion sets where they play live over the mix.
That's a specialty. I've played Indian, Cuban, Guatemalan, Ecuadorian, Mexican, Italian, Jewish, Israeli, Brazilian, Albanian and British weddings, and I plan the music and traditions for both families with you.
That's the job. I read who isn't on the floor yet and go get them, whether that takes a Motown song, a Bollywood song or the one your uncle has been waiting for all night. Nobody's side gets the whole night, and nobody's side sits out.
Most of my couples do. The consultation is a video call, planning happens in a shared document, and contracts and payments are electronic.
I coordinate directly with your planner, photographer, videographer and venue on timing, cues, setup access and power.
Every couple reviews their full playlist before the wedding. You set the must-plays and do-not-plays, and nothing gets decided on the night.
Wedding packages start at $5,500 for the reception and $6,300 for the full wedding day with ceremony and cocktail hour sound. Uplighting, LED tubes, a sound engineer and the full planning process are included in both.
A signed contract and a 50% retainer hold your date.
About a six-foot space for the booth with clear sightlines to the dance floor, two dedicated 15 to 20 amp circuits nearby, and load-in access a few hours before guests arrive. I confirm all of it with your venue directly.
Yes. Ceremony audio runs on its own dedicated system with wireless mics, so we can set up in both places without a gap between them.
No. I don't take breaks and I don't need a meal, so the music never stops. It keeps going from the first song to the last, including through dinner.
I cover all of Florida and take destination weddings across the US, the Caribbean, Mexico and Europe. Ask for the destination guide when you inquire.
Two packages, the same lighting and planning in both. The only difference is how much of the day has sound.
